Rallye du Touquet - 3rd

Another 18 Year old, Jack Morton, will be navigating for Chris which sees them become the youngest ever BRC crew
After a season full of huge highs and lows in 2012, Chris hopes the hard work Autosport Technologies and the rest of the team has put into the Renault Twingo EVO will pay off on the this weekends championship opener.
"Autosport Technology and Renault Sport France have given me a lot of support for this season and I want to repay them by mixing it with the Fords and hopefully taking a Podium finish"
After getting a solid start to his season taking a podium on the French R2 Trophys' first round, and after a successful test with Mark Higgins last week, the teenager is hopeful.
Chris would also like to welcome Nothing New 2 Wear, Stockslegal, & Parrot UK on-board for the ride this season

INGRAM OFF TO A FLIER IN FRANCE
18 Year old Chris Ingram kick started his 2013 Rallying season by securing a podium on the first round of the French Championship last weekend on the Rallye le Touquet
Although the young Brit was the youngest competitor by 3 years, he also finished first foreign driver along with his 3rd in the Renault Trophée R2 - despite having engine problems throughout the majority of the event.
After setting identical stage times to this years and last years Renault Works drivers Nicolas Romiguere & Jeremie Serieys, a misfire developed on the 3rd stage for Chris.
It was only for the hard work of the Autosport Technology team which kept Chris & Stephen in the Rally.
"It is frustrating to have such an unlucky problem, but we got the podium and some great prizes from Renault Sport so overall it has been a succesful start to our 2013 campaign. I'd just like to thank Autosport Technology, Stephen McAuley & the rest of our crew, and of course all of my sponsors for all playing a part in helping me get my first podium abroad!"
The next French Championship & Twingo R2 Trophy round will be Rallye Region Limousin in May
DRIVER OF THE YEAR TO KICK START 2013 IN FRANCE
2012 Motorsports Association Young Driver of the Year – Chris Ingram - plans to compete in both the British and French Rally Championships this year in his Renault Sport Twingo R2 Evo, supported by Stocks Legal, Cheshire Motorhomes and Costa Coffee.
The 18 Year old from Manchester will also benefit from British Teams Champions’ Autosport Technology supporting Chris in association with Renault Sport.
Ingram’s season gets underway next weekend on the Rallye du Touquet whereby he will be taking on some of France’s best rally drivers on the closed road event near Calais. The decision to compete in France was made when Ingram won the 2012 UK Renault R2 Trophy and a works drive on Rallye du Var in Renaults’ Clio R3, and impressed the Motorsport fraternity by securing a mature finish on his debut abroad and a solid 5th in the Renault Challenge on the huge French Championship Finale.
Once again experienced Ulster-man, Stephen McAuley, will navigate for Chris.
Shortly after returning home from the event Young Ingram was nominated as a finalist for the MSA Young Driver of the Year award, whereby he took on 4 Racing stars on various tests. He was later announced as the winner and has become the only Rally driver to ever win this prestigious award.
The British Rally Championship kicks off on the 6th April for the Rally of North Wales, where Ingram will be flying the flag for Renault taking on dozens of Ford and Citroen manufacture built Rally cars, and his aim is to win the British Rally 2 Championship (for R2 cars) and get a Pirelli Star Driver nomination.
